Commercial Fire & Soot Damage Cleaning Across the UK
Specialist dry ice cleaning for fire-affected machinery, brickwork, timber, steel and structural surfaces, with UK-wide attendance considered according to project scope, location and mobilisation requirements.
Remove Soot Without Adding Water or Spent Blast Media
After a fire, conventional cleaning can introduce moisture, chemical residue or further secondary cleanup. Dry ice provides a controlled option for suitable surfaces.
No Water Introduced
Useful where additional moisture could complicate machinery or already affected materials.
No Chemical Cleaning Residue
No harsh cleaning chemicals or chemical washing solutions are required by the dry ice process.
Minimal Blasting Waste
The dry ice sublimates, leaving removed soot and contamination as the primary material to manage.
Reduced Secondary Cleanup
No spent dry ice media or cleaning water needs to be cleared after the blasting process.
Specialist Cleaning for Equipment and Structural Surfaces
Every material and affected area is assessed before dry ice cleaning is recommended.
Production Machinery
External surfaces, frames, guards and accessible components affected by soot and residue.
Brick and Masonry
Controlled soot cleaning for suitable brickwork, blockwork and robust mineral surfaces.
Timber Structures
Exposed beams and structural timber, subject to assessment and suitability testing.
Metal and Structural Steel
Suitable steelwork, metal frames, casings and industrial components.
Plant Rooms and Workshops
Detailed cleaning around complex equipment and difficult surface profiles.
Commercial Buildings
Soot removal from suitable internal structures, warehouses and hard surfaces.
Planned Around the Project, Not Just the Postcode
UK coverage does not mean every project receives the same response. We consider the location, scale, affected equipment, access, urgency and expected duration before confirming attendance.
An initial remote review helps establish whether dry ice cleaning may be appropriate and whether an on-site assessment should be arranged.
Initial Remote Review
We review the location, incident details and safely available photographs or reports.
Mobilisation Planning
Travel, equipment, dry ice supply, access and working requirements are considered.
Defined Cleaning Scope
Our soot and surface-cleaning responsibilities are clearly separated from other restoration work.
Clear Quotation
The quotation reflects the work, location, mobilisation and expected timeframe.

UK Fire and Soot Cleaning FAQs
Information about nationwide attendance, suitability and the scope of Titus cleaning services.
Do you cover the whole of the UK?
We consider commercial and industrial projects throughout the UK. Attendance depends on the location, project scale, urgency, access and mobilisation requirements.
Is there an additional mobilisation charge?
Travel, accommodation, equipment transport, dry ice supply and mobilisation requirements are considered when preparing the quotation. These costs are made clear before you proceed.
Is dry ice suitable for every fire-damaged surface?
No. Suitability depends on the material, condition, coatings and fire residue. Fragile, painted, repaired or unknown surfaces may require testing.
Do you provide complete fire restoration?
Titus specialises in soot and surface cleaning. Structural repairs, electrical inspections, air-quality clearance and full reinstatement may require other qualified professionals.
Can you work with insurers and loss adjusters?
We can provide a defined cleaning scope and quotation that can be shared with insurers, loss adjusters, principal contractors and other relevant parties.
How quickly can you attend?
Attendance depends on location, site safety, equipment availability and mobilisation requirements. Urgent attendance may be available and can involve a rapid-response or mobilisation charge.
Does dry ice cleaning completely remove fire odours?
Dry ice cleaning can remove soot and contamination from suitable surfaces, but it is not a guarantee of complete odour remediation. Other affected materials or treatments may also need consideration.
